What's New at the Hertie School
Edition 6 · Academic Year 2017/2018
April 2018

Dear Friends of the Hertie School,

From Washington, DC to Sofia and Berlin, Hertie School students have been making waves:

The school's Moot Court team were very successful at the international finals in DC. Basak Çalı's course on "Reporting Human Rights Cases" inspired the Hertie School student human rights reporters to investigate the health of human rights on a global scale. They shared their findings with the public on 17 April.

40 Hertie School students represented the school at the 10th European Public Policy Conference in Sofia. The second student-organised Cracking the Ceiling Conference explored the relationship between digitalisation and gender equality.
